Hey fetelor,

Astăzi este luni asa ca vom avea parte doar de lucruri noi! După cum probabil ați observat, primul lucru nou este faptul ca aceasta este prima postare în limba romana! Motivul pentru care am decis sa nu scriu aceasta postare în engleza este pentru ca voi vorbi despre o companie care se afla doar în Romania momentan și doar noi ne putem bucura de minunatele lucruri pe care le are de oferit asa ca mi s-a părut firesc sa scriu în romana. In funcție de feedback-ul pe care îl voi primi de la voi, ma gândesc sa fac blogul bilingv, ce părere aveți? 

Am spus ca este luni asa ca vom avea parte de lucruri noi și vreau sa ma țin de cuvânt! Astăzi abordez un subiect despre care nu am mai vorbit pana acum pe blog și cred ca este momentul sa o fac, ținând cont ca vara bate la ușa și vrem sa arătam cât mai bine. Sunt de părere ca atunci când vine vorba despre înfrumusețare trebuie sa prevenim semnele îmbătrânirii și pe cele cauzate de soare care nu iartă pe nimeni. Celulita și vergeturile sunt probleme cu care generația noastră se confrunta din ce în ce mai des însa nu sunt un lucru cu care suntem obligate sa trăim atâta timp cât avem la dispoziție aparatura de ultima generație și cei mai buni specialiști din domeniu.

The Look for Less: Miranda Kerr and Olivia Palermo

Hey girls,

Long time no talk but I’ve been really busy this past week with upcoming projects which I can hopefully share with you soon, lots of meetings and getting over a stubborn cold. I also had a post planned for yesterday where I turned a fishtail braid into an updo but I wasn’t completely satisfied with the pictures so I decided not to post it all together. I hope you understand, maybe I’ll shoot it another day since it’s a hairstyle I do from time to time.

I mentioned I was a little sick and when I’m stuck in bed I like to look at pretty things and envision outfits which I’ll be able to wear when I feel better. I always check out what Olivia Palermo and Miranda Kerr have been wearing when I have the time as I simply love their style. They have a way of making everything look so chic and effortless which is definitely something to admire.

I picked 5 looks which I especially liked and looked for similar high street, more affordable pieces in order to recreate them. Here’s what I came up with: 

This look is perfect for running errands because of the flat loafers as well as the relaxed feel it has to it. Mirada Kerr has an amazing figure and those jeans fit her so well!

The flower jumper is just to die for and you know how much I love pairing flower prints with military pieces so it goes without saying this is one of my favorite outfits.

Olivia Palermo’s hair looks good no matter what she does, no matter what length it is and that’s something we can all envy her for! Another thing is how well she pulls off white, that shirt is too cute!

Blue my Mind

Hey girls,

Today’s outfit was shot last week but I feel as though it goes perfectly well with my mood today! It’s simple yet eye catching because of the vibrant blue color but most importantly it’s comfortable! Comfy in heels, hmmm that’s something worth exploring, right?

Firstly, I want to talk about this amazing shirt because it has quite a story behind it. I walked into a local store and was immediately drawn to the color. When I reached to look for my size, all I could find was XL but I was convinced I needed it in my life and bought it anyway. The next thing I did was give it to my tailor and she made it so it would fit me. I’ve worn it countless times since then and it just shows how important it is to go with your gut and to shop with your heart when looking for statement pieces.

I also said the shoes are comfortable and I really meant it! I feel as I could walk in this type of shoe a whole day and I wouldn’t feel tired at all and that’s because of the cut as well as the heel. Even though the heel is quite short I think they’re super feminine but that pattern makes them crazy cool at the same time. You can find similar shoes with the same comfortable cut here.

All in White

Lately, my outfits have been colorful, fun and eccentric. I’ve done a lot of color blocking, I paired neon shades with pastels which is quite unconventional but I absolutely loved the result. I’m the kind of person who dresses according to my mood and while there are days when color goes with my hyper-ness, there are also days when my outfits need to reflect a more laid back and relaxed me.   That being said, I want to present to you an absolute favorite of mine which is wearing (mostly) all white.

I’m known to spend an hour or two on Pintrest looking for inspiration and here are some looks I am completely in love with which I intend to get inspired from: 

The best white looks are, in my opinion, those which also incorporate some color through the use of accessories. A bold, bright lip also goes well with an amazing all white look because white is a neutral color and allows for brighter accents to be added to it. Another way to really make a white outfit look polished and pleasant to the eye is to add softer shades of white such as beige and cream into the mix in order to create a visual appealing ensemble. White is also the best shade to show off tanned skin as the contrast between white shades and tanned skin is the greatest therefore making the tan stand out. 

 Here are some outfits I incorporated white in as well as others which I've still got my eye on. I really like this look for summer, I think it is quite effortless and beautiful but feminine at the same time.

Flower Me Pretty

Dresses are one of my favorite things to wear in the summer time. They’re feminine and appropriate for many occasions which is always something to look for when you’re shopping for clothing items. I also find them easy to style because you only have to pick out the right shoes and accessories and you're good to go.

 I picked this dress from choies.com and two of my readers also won two $50 gift cards to spend on their website which I think is extremely generous of them to offer.

This floral dress immediately caught my attention because of its details, as well as colors and versatility. Also, how amazing would it look with a tan and sandy toes, I am in love just picturing it!

The length is perfect for my 1, 70 cm frame and it looks good with flats as well as with heels. I especially wanted you to see both looks so the last two pictures are of me wearing nude flats which I thought went best with the vibrant dress.

I woke up to the smell of my perfume lingering on my skin from yesterday which instantly reminded me of the whole day. I sat in bed for a few minutes reminiscing on the day that passed when I wore this dress for Easter. The perfume which remained on my skin was Versace Versense, a fresh scent, perfect for hot days. 

I  look outside the window and I realize today will be just as beautiful a day as yesterday was. In a few minutes we’re heading to my grandparents’ house where they’re waiting for us with good food, a beautiful garden full of flowers and lots of dogs which is all I could ever ask for. I can’t even believe that it’s Monday and we’re still able to hang out in the sun without doing much but that’s what the holidays are for!

The weather is on our side, the sun is shining and we're on our way, ready for an adventure! The road is long and bumpy but once we're here we can't give enough kisses and hugs. The next stop are the dogs, after our grandparents they're the next best thing, I just love them so much. They're the best creatures on earth in my opinion, they're always so happy to see you and never want you to leave their side.

Far from the busy streets you only hear the birds chirping and the leaves rustling. The sun is 

shining but we're sitting in the shade enjoying a lovely day. I'm still a city girl at heart though, 

100%, but it's nice to disconnect once in a while, really, really nice… See you tomorrow from 

the city my loves, I’m off to enjoy a cold lemonade, long stories and lots of dog licks.
